Max Lyman

Max is a 2023 graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering. He brings practical experience in technology and construction to every project, making him uniquely equipped for the real estate market.

During the pandemic, Max worked as an engineer at Viken Detection, where he helped design and install custom vehicle x-ray scanning systems for both domestic and foreign agencies. In addition to assisting with design, he led and standardized installation and worked directly with groups like the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Central Intelligence Agency to ensure successful deployments.

While still in college, Max co-founded a startup that developed trustless software—raising capital from Soma Capital and 186 Ventures—and co-ran a BTC mining data center with his brother, gaining valuable insights into the industrial, power, and compute sectors.

After graduation, he assisted in restoring a 30,000+ SF facility in Plainfield, which had been reduced to the steel frame and concrete pad. When the regular project manager was away, Max stepped in for a few weeks to manage the crew, ensuring the rebuild went smoothly.

Max has also shared his expertise as a speaker at events such as TEDx MIT, the Connecticut Community Bankers Association, Boston University, and the Engineering Development Forum at the University of Tennessee.

Now a proud member of Lyman Real Estate since 2024, Max is a licensed real estate salesperson. He combines his engineering and project management background with the team’s long standing legacy.
